What is GuideWave?
Transition between gears without the risk of a miss shift. Block out gears and customise the experience to meet your unique requirements. With GuideWave™ these perks available to professional and enthusiast drivers alike.
The GuideWave™ hides specific gears, while providing a guide path to improve cross-gate shifts by simply lifting the bottom of the lift knob enables selection of any gear. The lift knob provides a very distinctive additional user operation, while remaining easy to operate from any angle. GuideWave™ plates can be swapped out, changing which gears require the additional user operation to enable.

Aggressive shifting can put significant forces into the gearbox, resulting in over-travel internally.
Adjustable shift stops prevent over-travel of the gearbox, and provide a very distinctive feel to the driver. This distinctive feeling provides absolute confidence to the driver that the shifter is completely in gear.

Seats, steering wheels and sometimes pedals are adjustable, so why not the shifter? The shifter is an important part of the driver experience, and we believe it should be customisable to the driver.
Q Shift integrates an adjustable shifter offset, as well as height adjustment. This improves shifter ergonomics for the driver, giving them the best driver ergonomics possible.

Q Shift has optional integrated shifter position detection. These are physical sensors that operate from shifter position, meaning gear position is detected as soon as a gear is engaged.
This is a more reliable, and faster position detection method than the traditional wheel speed vs. RPM calculation. This also enables the possibility of using shifter position as the trigger for exiting shift-cut while flat shifting.

Each GuideWave™ shifter is produced in New Zealand on a made to order basis, with lead times ranging from 4-6 weeks from the initial point of contact.
