No, The shift and lift knobs are designed to work together as a set. This facilitates optimum tolerances and ergonomics in operation. Therefore aftermarket shift knobs are not supported and invalidate all warranties.
No. It is designed to optimise shifting pathways especially across gates, while maintaining a lever throw that gives superb driver feedback together with gear position clarity when in the heat of battle. The GuideWave™ shifter gives you confidence to shift fast without missing a gear causing potential disaster.
No... quite the contrary! The shifter is designed to eliminate damaging miss shifts together with shift stops to mitigate internal gearbox and or cable damage .The shift lever has an optimised throw length for excellent driver feedback and facilitate co-ordination of shifting both hand and clutch foot together.
Yes. There are a couple of differences that are very intuitive. Both first and reverse gears are locked out until the lift collar is lifted. Locking out first means when the lever is pushed forward from second the GuideWave™ will guide the shift lever into third. This shift is also guided from 5th to 4th gear during down shifts. Please view our video for demonstration of operation.

No, the shifter still retains your existing H pattern. Shifting feels mechanically very satisfying and positive in action.

Installation + Compatibility

An advertised shifter model may take between 2-6 weeks to ship. Get in touch for information on lead time of bespoke orders. Any merchandise purchased will dispatch within 2 working days.
We ship through DHL both domestically and internationally. Get in touch for a shipping quote.
Local NZ GST is excluded from the online purchase price for all export orders. Additional import duties and taxes are the purchasers responsibility. Shipping costs to your destination are additional to the purchase price of goods and will be individually quoted by proforma invoice.

An up to date list of compatible models can be found under the product description of each GuideWave™ offering. If your vehicle is not listed please get in touch so we can discuss fitment options.
We recommend having your shifter installed at a trusted mechanical workshop. Please note this service will incur additional costs. A full installation guide will be emailed to you upon successful order confirmation. Feel free to reach out with any installation queries prior to purchase.
Measure the circumference of your factory shift knob at the widest point. Use callipers for width or flexible tape for diameter. Reference to our measurements your existing size and feel to estimate your preference.
Remove any debris that may affect operation that have fallen into the shifter housing. Only use a clean dry lint free cloth to clean components. Do not apply any wet or dry lubricants. Refer to your owners manual for setup adjustment information for your model.
